As you may know, I posted Alice Dishes on Indiegogo to help raise funds for the design and web development. I am filled with gratitude for all the amazing people who have helped make my creative endeavor possible.
They say it takes a village and that has certainly proven to be true. I’ll be forever indebted to the following people (listed in no particular order):
My mother, who raised us on real food and taught us the value of economy in the kitchen. My father, whose extended family taught me that eating amazing food with large numbers of people is a matter of utmost familial importance. (There’s a reason why our family song is “We’ll eat again” sung to the tune of “We’ll meet again“.)
Everyone who helped me to get Alice Dishes off the ground and ensured there was a project to fund, but especially: Monkey, Sam Jones, Laura Fraser, Jason Boyle and Kate Purmal.
And every wonderful person who made a contribution, financial or otherwise, as well as those who wish to remain anonymous: Ben Chan, Stephanie Losee, Siobhan MacDermott, Drew Larner, Madeline Duva, Sean and Caroline Pak, Jenny Edwards, Kate Purmal, Ellen and Andrew Hathaway, Danya Shegeloff, Belinda Wong, Heather Edell, Jeff Ansell, Matt and Lisa Middlebrook, Bob Tracy and Carrie Holder, Tony Horkins, Pamela Kaplan, Joanna Drake Earl, Robbie Mascotte, Francie Christenson, Libby Kearney, Ginny Hautau, Candice Tillett, Laura Cashion, Francie Coulter, Collette Michaud and Amy Wolff.
Thank you, thank you!
